Rules that apply now
- A notary performs a notarial act only when appointed under the Notaries Act, 1952. DLI does not perform any notarial act.
- DLI does not choose, rank or rate a notary, and it does not run a notary marketplace.
- Stamp duty is paid through licensed stamp partners. DLI does not sell stamps.
- Each fee is shown on its own line: the notary fee, stamp duty, any partner fee, and DLI's platform fee.
- DLI does not give legal advice.
